GREEN SHEETS CAMPAIGN 2010
Think of Green tea ice-cream, Ogre Shrek's Green, the LGM's (Little Green Men) squeeze toy in Toy Story, or that long-awaited traffic light Green. These are the blissful 'Greens'. Little did we know, sometime last December, our world leader failed to come up with a global agreement to prevent climate crisis in Copenhagen. That is the most unfortunate 'Green'.
Fortunately, our brave Green Goer leader, Lord Mayor Clover Moore banished those Copenhagen blues and encourages NSW to cut down carbon emissions by 10% this year. Joining the entourage, danC Entertainment inspired local businesses to make 2010 the opportunity for climate actions and create awareness by launching 10:10 Campaign to endorse and show that a 10% cut on carbon emissions this year is possible. Supporting the 10:10 Campaign, Vie Magazine proudly collaborate with danC Entertainment to establish a greener slate of union; the Green Sheets Campaign.
Scrutinising today's mass production of publications, products and technologies, we predict that our future's 'Green' is nevertheless a-new-kind-of 'Grey'. On that account, Vie Magazine took every important step to accomplish this important mission to lead all other possible entries or individuals to join us in the making of the Green Sheets Campaign.
The Green Sheets Campaign is established to aid our foundation in supporting 10:10 Campaign and NSW's participation in cutting down carbon emissions. The campaign helps us understand that each year, million tonnes of CO₂ emission are produced to harm our surrounding environment. It is also the major cause of climate change and the core reason for Hollywood directors to produce '2012'. As a result, the campaign bailed in to assist our mission to turn 'Green' and help sustain our environment for a brighter tomorrow.
To achieve this, Vie Magazine has officially become recyclable and crispin' fresh filled with hope and joy; printed, labelled and dispatched free for all to share. Your support is to have this copy in your hands, reading and sharing 'Vie' (Life) at a greener slate. Hold it up high and be proud because by reading Vie, you are taking part in our nation's 'Green' campaign!
